Brian and his wife Susie are the proud parents of three adult sons.
The family lives in Collingwood where Brian served as Mayor and Deputy Mayor for 8 years.
Before entering politics at the provincial level, Brian practiced law for 22 years and taught Business Law and Ethics at Georgian College.
Since 2022, Brian was the member of Provincial Parliament for Simcoe-Grey, Brian has been instrumental in bringing hundreds of millions of dollars into the riding. In 2024 alone, more than $500,000,000.00 were invested locally in new hospitals, schools, jobs and infrastructure.
Brian is also an Olympian. He rowed with the Canadian Rowing Team competing at two Olympics and three World Championships.
